Christie began her dental career at age 20 as a dental assistant, quickly realising she wanted to be more deeply involved in healthcare. She went on to complete her Bachelor of Oral Health in 2014 and has been working as a dental hygienist ever since. With experience across all areas of dentistry, Christie has developed a strong clinical focus on periodontal (gum) disease. She brings enthusiasm, compassion, and a deep understanding of the challenges patients may face when visiting the dentist. Her goal is to create a safe, welcoming space where patients feel comfortable returning and supported throughout their oral health journey. Christie particularly thrives when treating more complex gum conditions and finds it incredibly rewarding to help patients achieve meaningful improvements in their oral health. Over more than a decade in the profession, Christie’s favourite part of her role has become the relationships she builds. She loves seeing families grow, getting to know people’s stories, and greeting familiar faces each day. Outside of work, Christie is busy raising her three children and loves spending quality time with her family.
